Liseanne Cherubin

Liseanne is a Primary Therapist at Compassion Behavioral Health. Liseanne obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies, from Barry University, specializing in Behavioral Health Science. Liseanne also obtained her Master’s degree from Barry University in Mental Health Counseling and Marriage & Family Therapy. Liseanne is a current member of the Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society. Liseanne is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern working on obtaining dual licensure in mental health and marriage and family counseling. She provides individual and group therapy and facilitates the mental health trauma group where clients strive to gain insight into the maladaptive behavioral, cognitive, emotional and social effects of their trauma. In gaining initial insights into these effects, clients develop individualized coping skills and awareness of the negative effects of their defined traumas. Her clients thrive under her guidance because of her honesty, empathy, and compassion. Recognizing the severe impacts of addiction on both the addict and the families, Liseanne is dedicated to consistently serve her clients.
